Event Details:
Letterpress broadsides printed on pages from old dictionaries, with "orphan" wood type - what I call "ransom note." You'll leave with a small edition (around 5-10) of broadsides printed with your own message.
Have fun while getting hands on experience using antique printing presses and metal and wood type faces to design, create, and print ephemera. I'll be there to help you along the way, while also giving a brief overview of the history of letterpress and overall understanding of the printing process.
No experience required.
Recommended for ages 16+.
Limited to 8 students.
