Join us at Wine & Canvas Studio for Shelly's Island Adventure, a fun-filled Cookies & Canvas event designed especially for young artists. This adorable design features Shelly the sea turtle enjoying a sunny day by the water, complete with a tiny island and palm trees in the distance.

As kids paint Shelly's bright green shell and friendly smile, they'll learn simple painting techniques while creating a colorful beach scene full of personality. Then, they'll add ocean reflections, beach details, and playful finishing touches that bring the entire painting to life. Because the canvas is pre-outlined and our instructor guides every step, young painters can relax, have fun, and leave with a finished masterpiece they'll be excited to show off.

Whether your child loves turtles, beach days, animals, or simply getting creative, this event is a perfect way to spend an afternoon filled with art, cookies, and imagination.

No painting experience needed. We keep the process simple, encouraging, and fun for all skill levels.

What Kids Will Learn

During this class, young artists will:

• Paint within pre-outlined shapes for confidence and success
• Use bright colors to bring Shelly to life
• Practice simple blending and brush control techniques
• Add details that create personality and expression
• Create a fun beach scene with water, sand, and tropical elements

Because each step builds naturally on the last, every child can create a painting they'll be proud of.

What's Included

We provide everything needed, so kids can arrive ready to create:

• One 8×10 pre-outlined canvas per child
• Step-by-step instruction from a friendly local artist
• All painting supplies (paints, brushes, apron)
• One cookie per child 🍪
• Finished Shelly's Island Adventure painting to take home

Snacks & Drinks

Each child will receive one cookie to enjoy during the event.

Outside snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are welcome.

Alcohol is not permitted at Cookies & Canvas events.

Free parking is available in the lot at 2816 W Sylvania Ave. (corner of W Sylvania Ave. and Grantley Rd). If the lot is full, street parking is also available.

Check-in begins 15 minutes before the event starts.

Policies

• Cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before the event
• Request refunds within 3 days of purchase
• After 3 days, event credit will be issued
• Tickets may be transferred to another guest

Paint may stain clothing, so please dress accordingly.
