Nocturnal by Nature Flashlight Safari at Toledo Zoo

After hours, the Toledo Zoo feels like a completely different and much wilder place; the crowds are gone, the buildings are closed, and occasionally you'll hear a tiger vocalizing in the distance.

Experience the zoo like never before and join us for a flashlight safari! Guided by a staff member, you will explore the sights, sounds, and surprises of the zoo after dark! Armed with flashlights, you’ll tour the zoo discovering the beauty and fragrance of night blooming plants and get a first-hand look at some of the nocturnal behaviors of the more wild residents.

Along the way you’ll meet one of our dedicated night keepers and learn a bit more about some amazing adaptations that allow certain animals to thrive while most others are asleep.
