Watercolor Wander - Art in the Aquarium at Toledo Zoo

Discover the beauty of watercolor painting while exploring the zoo in a whole new way. The morning begins with a beginner-friendly introduction to watercolor techniques led by an amazingly talented artist from The Art Supply Depo. Afterward, participants will wander to specific locations throughout the zoo, drawing (and painting) the vibrant plants, fascinating animals, and scenic landscapes around them. Throughout the experience, an artist will be available to provide guidance, encouragement, and personalized instruction as you practice your new skills. At the conclusion of the program, each participant will receive a reusable, professional-quality watercolor sample card to take home to continue practicing their newly-acquired techniques. Whether you're picking up a paintbrush for the first time or looking for a fresh source of creative inspiration, this Watercolor Wander offers a relaxing and memorable way to reconnect with art and nature.
