Ballet Theatre of Toledo presents Nigel Burgoine's "Jungle Book the Ballet"

Follow the famous Rudyard Kipling’s story of Mowgli the orphaned Indian boy who is raised by wolves. Watch as he grows up with his friends Baloo the bear, Bagheera the Panther and Kaa the python. See Mowgli meet humans for the first time and become the enemy of Shere Khan who is the fiercest tiger in the jungle. Inspired by the powerful music of Alexander Borodin, Nigel Burgoine’s choreography blends classical ballet with creative animal movements to bring this endearing tale to life. This beautiful and heart touching story of animals and humans caring and defending each other is a perfect ballet for the entire family!
