SYNOPSIS: "The Normal Heart" is a largely autobiographical play that focuses on the rise of the HIV-AIDS crisis in New York City between 1981 and 1984 as seen through the eyes of writer/activist Ned Weeks, the founder of The Gay Men’s Health Crisis. Ned prefers loud public confrontations to the calmer, more private strategies favored by his associates, friends, and closeted lover Felix Turner. Their difference of opinion leads to frequent arguments that threaten to undermine their mutual goal. Originally produced Off-Broadway, a revival opened on Broadway in 2011 and was adapted into an award-winning HBO movie in 2014.

Performance Dates: April 6 & 7
