The Glass City Low Down Bass Showcase:

Aaron Gibson -
"Bass Album of the Year"- Thunder Row
To watch Gibson play is to see a jaw-dropping array of raking, tapping, slapping, and an almost banjo-like plucking technique - mad skills! To listen to Aaron Gibson is to lose yourself in his music. You simply disappear into each story, each note, whether as individual pieces or a journey entire.

Steven Guerrero/Flat Earth Agenda -
Toledo Ohio, "Dreamy soundscapes and stream-of-consciousness vibes are what Flat Earth Agenda are all about. Each musical piece is a looped and layered concoction of six-stringed basses that build into a finely crafted composition that pushes the boundaries for bass frequency and tonality. Steven Guerrero is the mastermind behind this project. He couples his bass sounds with only percussion. No vocals, and no other instruments necessary here: -

Jonathan Moody -
...with the release of “Music for our Hands,” a 7-song EP that highlights the compositional skills and technical foundation that has made Jon one of the most in-demand musicians in the SW Michigan - and outlying - areas.

Jared Lees -
“Solo bass has been gaining a greater level of acceptance over the recent past. Pathfinders like Michael Manring, Darren Michaels, Victor Wooten, and many more, have helped to grow an audience for solo bass. You can now add Jared Lees to this illustrious list of solo bass contributors”– Bass Musician Magazine.

Mike Scott/To Murder A Machine -
Hailing from Tempreance Michigan and using a mix of traditional and extended range basses, Mike's playing and vocal work are not to be missed.

Matthew Meyers -
Michael Tobias Designs USA Endorsed Artist
Bartolini Electronics Endorsed Artist
GHS Strings Endorsed Artist
Bassist for Americana Fusion band Dragon Wagon
Solo artist and Clinician for MTD and Bartolini
Past Bands:
Liquid Legbone

Morgan Phelps -
A Pedal & Amp Builder at EarthQuaker Devices, Morgan will perform with his Warr guitar, a unique extended range tapping instrument that will surely bring the low end.

Pete Skjold -
"Pete Skjold has been wowing bassists with his incredible instruments for nearly two decades."- No treble
Pete will not only have a few of his amazing basses on display, he will also perform.
