Event Details:

Today, about one in four people living with HIV in the United States are women 13 or older. Striving to keep these numbers low in the Toledo community and to help eliminate this issue at whole, popular local singer Monique TaChae will be hosting the National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day event, an annual nationwide observance to promote HIV prevention, testing, and treatment to lessen the burden of HIV in women and girls. The event will bring attention to this important public health issue.

The NWGHAAD event Key note speaker is Toni Epperson. There will be a HIV/Aids resource site provided by the Toledo Health Department, music and entertainment performances by Monique TaChae, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., Charlotte the Sax player, Beacon Dance Ministry and more, food, raffle and giveaways!

To support and promote the event, help raise awareness by wearing red lipstick on March 10th and donate a Facebook post or tweet on social media.

Doors open at 5pm so get there early to grab a bite, network and check out the vendors. To get involved, contact [email protected]
