Event Details:

Our summer Educational Initiatives program, organized by Young Women of Toledo will be featuring the event Ramadan Exploration: Iftar Dinner Gathering.

This community dinner focuses on the breaking of the fast during the Islamic Holy month of Ramadan. Our event will provide educational opportunities that promote a greater understanding of the Islamic faith.

In today's political climate, the religion of Islam is loaded with misunderstanding and stereotyping due to a general lack of knowledge and exposure. This event will invite community members to have a better understanding of the Islamic faith and its celebrations.

Community members will benefit from enhanced awareness and knowledge about their neighbors while enjoying a traditional Iftar meal and learning from a speaker who is an Islamic scholar.

Ramadan Exploration is a ticketed program, open to the entire Greater Toledo community. Non-Muslims are encouraged to attend. This ticketed program includes a Buffet Dinner with a Halal food, a prayer area, a Dialogue forum by Islamic Scholars to Educate, Engage and Empower the non-Muslims in the audience and a Ramadan Bazaar.
