Event Details:

In Celebration of diversity, Women of Toledo, Welcome Toledo-Lucas County (TLC), and Toledo School for the Arts (TSA), will host its first 419Taste event featuring cuisine from the Asian continent.

The event will take place on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Toledo School for the Arts (TSA).

Our goal is to offer the community an opportunity to sample appetizers from local international restaurants as part of this intercultural culinary experience.

For entertainment after 419Taste, attendees can then make their way upstairs to TSA’s Attic Theater for the Senior High One Acts featuring Advanced Acting students. Toledo is more than just home for people of diverse cultures, traditions and beliefs. Throughout history, populations from different cultures have met and exchanged ideas, values and goods through food, art, trade and migration. In an increasingly interdependent community, people from different backgrounds and cultures are now mixing more than ever. As organizations that advocate for diversity, it is important for us to continue effort towards a society respectful of cultural diversity and open to the world.

This 419 Taste event is free and open to the community of Greater Toledo. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in the event. For more information contact Nina Corder, Managing Director, Women of Toledo.
