The Natural Living Festival
Date of event: Saturday August 4th, 2018 (rain date 8/5) 10am-5pm
Location: Agnes Reynolds Jackson Arboretum (2501 Robinwood Ave) Toledo, Ohio 

Philosophy: The Natural Living Festival is a free fun, peace-filled community event intended to support individuals and families by connecting them with resources to live a happy and sustainable life while focusing on ways to preserve our earth and integrate natural, healthy living lifestyle choices. 

Anticipated Events: (Family friendly) Events are educational and/or related to philosophy of festival): educational presentations, local food and business vendors, activities, hands on craft area for adults & children (focus on recycled crafts and sustainable living practices) and nature inspired children’s play area. 

Volunteers/Community Involvement: A volunteer committee of 3-5 people who will help organize the event, approximately 20 volunteers needed the day of event to assist with set up, vendors, presentations, manage activities and clean up.

Ultimate Goal: 
The Natural Living Festival is an ideal opportunity to build community and connect people with local businesses, educators and like-minded individuals. This event is in alignment with the intention to create and foster a sense of belonging, safety and connection. Natural living practices enhance neighborhoods by encouraging people to make choices that preserve our land, our homes, our health and our overall way of living.
