Event Details:

Join the Judith Herb College of Education in welcoming Aurora Chang for a dynamic and interactive speaking engagement called: "I Can't Be a Pessimist because I'm Alive". Dra. Chang will discuss how story-telling, education, and identity remain vital components to a functioning democracy and positive sense of community.

A former undocumented immigrant from Guatemala, Dra. Aurora Chang, PhD, is an assistant professor at Loyola University and nationally renowned scholar in education. She teaches coursework on multicultural education, school reform, undocumented students, and urban schooling.
