Buckeye Community Arts Network (BCAN) will broadcast LIVE the first-ever concert to be held at Fifth Third Field.  Rise Up! Live at Fifth Third Field featuring Oliver Hazard will air exclusively on Buckeye Broadband Channel 109/609HD on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 7 p.m.

Toledo Mud Hens Director of Strategic Planning and Projects Mike Keedy says the partnership with BCAN is the perfect fit to provide the Oliver Hazard concert to the masses. “With safety protocols in place we have a limited capacity available.  On field pods have sold out and there are a limited number of seats still available in the seating bowl.  We are very excited to be able to offer this experience into everyone’s home.”

The stage will be positioned in left field with the band performing beneath the 2,500-square-foot video board which will carry a live feed from BCAN.

“BCAN is proud to partner with the Toledo Mud Hens for the first ever concert at Fifth Third Field,” said LeAnne Markins, BCSN/BCAN market manager.  “We’re privileged to offer a great experience in-park and a viewing alternative to those who were not able to purchase a ticket or didn’t feel comfortable attending in person.”

Oliver Hazard, a trio from Waterville, Ohio, performs a ramshackle of uprooted-folk stomp, mixed with classic Americana spirit and humble folk.  The opening act features 23-year-old singer/songwriter Vintz Desert.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. with the show beginning at 6:30 p.m.

OPENING ACT | Vintz Desert
23-year-old Singer/Songwriter from Boston who’s main focus is writing emotionally raw songs about love, mental health, and traveling. He spent 4 years in the Marine Corps stationed in San Diego. During this time, he was faced with adversity but used it to refine his singing and song-writing skills.
