Toledo Mud Hens Promotions for June 29-July 5

The Toledo Mud Hens begin a homestand on Tuesday, June 29 vs. the Gwinnett Braves at 7:00 p.m. The Hens will play their next seven games at Fifth Third Field (four vs. Gwinnett and three vs. Columbus).

Tuesday, June 29        
(Gwinnett, 1st pitch at 7:00 PM ? Gates open at 6:00) ? The Mud Hens host the Gwinnett Braves (Triple-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves) for the only time this season.  It is “Smoothie Tuesdie,” presented by McDonalds.  Ronald McDonald will make an appearance, and some lucky fans will receive a coupon for free smoothies.  There will be a special post-game run the bases opportunity for Muddy’s Buddies Kids Club members.  The contest between the Hens and the Braves can be heard live on Fox Sports Radio 1230, WCWA and seen live on BCSN.
 
Wednesday, June 30  
(Gwinnett, 1st pitch at 7:00 PM ? Gates open at 6:00) ? The Hens and Braves will be back at it on Wednesday night.  Ballreich’s potato chips will be handed out on exit.  The game can be heard live on Fox Sports Radio 1230, WCWA and seen live on BCSN.
 
Thursday, July 1         
(Gwinnett, 1st pitch at 7:00 PM ? Gates open at 6:00) ? Game three of the Hens-Braves series will be preceded by the Gene Cook Baseball Camp for Kids (4:15-6:15 p.m.) and will also feature “Canada Day: A Tribute to our Northern Neighbors.”  The first 3,000 fans will receive special Canadian hats.  The game can be heard live on Fox Sports Radio 1230, WCWA and WFOB 1430 AM (Fostoria) and seen live on BCSN.
 
Friday, July 2              
(Gwinnett, 1st pitch at 7:00 PM ? Gates open at 5:30) ? The Hens and Braves play the finale of their series.  It is “Twilight Night,” and the first 5,000 fans will receive a pair of vampire fangs.  There will also be a post-game fireworks show, presented by Corner Dental.  The contest between Toledo and Gwinnett can be heard live on Fox Sports Radio 1230, WCWA and seen live on BCSN.
 
Saturday, July 3          
(Columbus, 1st pitch at 7:00 PM ? Gates open at 5:30) ? The Hens host the Columbus Clippers (Triple-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians) for their second trip to Toledo this season.  The first 1,500 fans at the game will receive a rally towel courtesy of Verizon Wireless.  There will also be a post-game fireworks show.  The contest between the Hens and the Clippers can be heard live on Fox Sports Radio 1230, WCWA and seen live on BCSN.
 
Sunday, July 4             
(Columbus, 1st pitch at 6:30 PM ? Gates open at 5:00) ? Snoopy, Charlie Brown's faithful sidekick, will be at the ballpark tonight, sponsored by Cedar Point.  It is the second game of the series between the Hens and the Clippers.  There will be five (5) Family Four-Packs of tickets to Cedar Point given away at the game, as well as a V.I.P. prize that not only includes tickets to Cedar Point, but a special tour and an opportunity to skip to the front of the lines at rides.  It is ALS Awareness Night and Design-a-Sign Night.  There will be pre-game autographs from 5:30-6:00 (2 players) and Kids Run the Bases presented by Applebee’s following the game.  There will also be a post-game fireworks show.  The contest between the Hens and the Clippers can be heard live on Fox Sports Radio 1230, WCWA and seen live on BCSN.
 
Monday, July 5
