Winners Announced In Metroparks Photo Contest

All 556 entries submitted by 102 photographers in this year's Celebrating Nature Through Photography Contest go on exhibit starting this weekend at the National Center for Nature Photography, a Metroparks facility located inside Secor Metropark. The exhibit will be unveiled Friday evening during a public reception from 6 to 8.

The photos will remain on exhibit through November. Regular gallery hours are noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Admission is free. Secor Metropark is on Central Avenue, six mile west of I-475/US23.

A photo of a Lake Superior sunset by Steve Perry was named Best In Show.
