Tickets still available for second Bob Segar Show at Huntington Center

Listen Up Toledo  |  02/08/2013

The Ramblin' Gamblin' man himself, Detroit rock legend Bob Seger, returns to Toledo in late February and early March for a rare live appearance. After a string of hits and near-constant touring throughout the '60s, '70s and '80s, Bob Seger and his Silver Bullet Band started to reel things in during the '90s and went into what seemed like permanent retirement throughout much of the early aughts. These shows mark only Seger's second appearance in Toledo in ten years. The first show on February 27th is sold out. Tickets are still available for the March 1st concert.

A man who needs little introduction, Seger held down the teen club circuit around Michigan beginning in the early-sixties with a number of small garage bands, eventually resulting in the formation of his psychedelically-tinged rock outfit, The Bob Seger System. The System yielded a hit with "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man" and set the stage for Seger to eventually go solo and later form his legendary Silver Bullet Band. In this later outfit, Seger penned a string of smash hits, including "Beautiful Loser," "Katmandu," "Turn the Page," "Night Moves," "Hollywood Nights," "We've Got Tonight," "Old Time Rock n Roll," "Against the Wind," "You'll Accomp'ny Me," "Like a Rock," and many, many more.

Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band play The Huntington Center Arena in Downtown Toledo, 500 Jefferson, on February 27 (sold out!) and Friday, March 1. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster. Doors at 8pm. Tickets are $70 ($81.30 with service fees).
