Hensville Live! Concert Series Announced

The first-ever Hensville Live! music series kicks off with American Idol winner, Lee DeWyze, on Friday, May 26.

Hensville Live! presented by Price Pro, happens after every Friday and Saturday Mud Hens game between Memorial and Labor Day weekend. Hensville Live! concerts include an up-close downtown fireworks experience followed by live music from the best local, regional and national acts performing free on the Fleetwood's outdoor stage in Hensville Park and at Top of NINE rooftop.

Hensville Live! Spotlight Dates

Lee DeWyze – Friday, May 26
Lee DeWyze won the ninth season of American Idol beating out hometown favorite Crystal Bowersox. He successfully launched a high-profile music career with his Vanguard Records debut album, Frames. DeWyze penned the original song ‘Blackbird Song’ for the hit TV show The Walking Dead.
 
Hard Days Night Beatles Tribute Concert – Friday, June 16
Hailing from the rock 'n roll city of Cleveland, Ohio, Hard Day's Night is rated among the top national Beatles tribute groups performing today. The Hensville Live! show will be capped off with a special tribute to the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album.
 
Michaela Anne- Friday, June 30
The indie-country artist has been called a “ravishing female reincarnation of Hank Williams who can honky-tonk with the best of them. Rolling Stone listed her album among the “15 Great Country Americana Albums You Didn’t Hear in 2016”.
 
80’s Party featuring 56DAZE- Sunday, July 2
Since 2002, 56DAZE has been exciting audiences all across Northwest Ohio, Southeast Michigan, and Northern Indiana with their amazing live rock show.
 
Laith Al-Saadi- Monday, July 3
His authentic blend of blues, soul and classic rock won America’s hearts and a spot in the finale of NBC’s “The Voice” in 2016. Al-Saadi performed with legends like Taj Mahal, Buddy Guy, Gregg Allman, and B.B. King.  The Ann Arbor native honed his skills at the University of Michigan, School of Music.
 
90’s Party Skittle Bots- Friday, July 28
Winner of the 2015 Bar 145 ‘Battle of the Cover Bands’, the Skittle Bots are a heavy dose of 90’s nostalgia.
 
Top of NINE Rooftop
Hensville Live! takes the entertainment to the rooftop featuring live music at Top of NINE Rooftop from 9 to midnight.  Friday nights will feature live, local music.  Saturday nights will feature a rooftop DJ, creating an intimate rooftop lounge overlooking downtown Toledo.
