6th Annual Sand-Tastic Returns to Levis Commons

What do you call 50 tons of sand, 4 huge sand sculptures, a 2,000 square foot sandbox, and lots of FREE activities?  Levis Commons calls it “Sand-Tastic” and it’s back for a 6th year on June 23rd and 24th.
 
Levis Commons will be turning the boulevard into a beach with sand, sand and more sand.  Add in water tables, inflatables, power-wheels rides, a BMX stunt demo, live music, corn hole, mascot appearances and more and you have a fun filled two day summer event worthy of clearing space on your calendar. “We just love putting on this event” said Allison Schroeder, Levis Commons Marketing Director. “Our whole team gets into the fun and welcomes the thousands of families that come out to enjoy all of the free activities.”
 
The community sandbox will be bigger this year and nightly “treasures” will be hidden in it for kids to find. The four 8-ton sand sculptures that will take shape throughout the event under the skillful hands of Ice Creations, will have a “favorite cartoon character” theme, and live music will entertain everyone from a stage overlooking the sandbox.
 
The event will kick off at 6pm on Thursday night, June 22nd with Castles For A Cause, a charity sand sculpting contest.  Activities will be taking place both Friday and Saturday June 23rd and 24th from Noon-8pm.  For a complete Sand-Tastic event schedule visit shopleviscommons.com/event/sand-tastic.
