Local Musicians Celebrate Tom Petty at Fleetwood's

Fleetwood's Tap Room will host a sing-a-long tribute show to Tom Petty, led by Ben Barefoot & the Handshakes on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 8 p.m.

In celebration and honor of the late rock legend, the Toledo-based band will present two hours of the artist’s most iconic hits that touched so many over the decades. In lieu of an admission fee, donations are recommended to the American Heart Association.

Band Information: Ben Barefoot and The Hand Shakes is a four-piece rock band based in Toledo, Ohio. Members include lead singer and guitarist Ben Barefoot, lead guitarist Frank May, bassist Peter Karchenko, and drummer Sam Woldenberg.  For the tribute show, the band will welcome Lucas Madrazo and Ross Thompson on keyboard Their original music draws inspiration from Rock and Roll artists from the 60’s and 70’s, including The Beatles, Bob Dylan and of course, Tom Petty.

Venue Information: Fleetwood’s Tap Room is located on the first floor of the Fleetwood Building across the street from Fifth Third Field.
