On Saturday, May 26, and then again on Monday, May 28, our local farmers will be on hand for “Market Days” selling direct to you artisan baked goods, produce, beef, coffee, cheese, and so much more. In addition, families and friends can wander and shop from among a variety of artisans’ jewelry works, yard art, crafts, soaps, candles and - of course – the flowers.

On Sunday, May 27, Flower Day, 30 of the Toledo area’s best flower growers and greenhouses will pack the market with their best flowers and plants. More than 20,000 visitors have been known to visit the market on this day. However, parking is easily available both along Erie Street in front of the Erie Street Market, located at 237 South Erie St., and throughout the revitalized Warehouse District.  The weekend, known for it’s 50,000 plus visitors, makes this event the largest and most anticipated flower & garden event in all of Northwest Ohio. Boy Scouts will be on hand Saturday and Sunday to operate a Flower Valet to allow drive up loading of purchases.

In addition, there will be musical entertainment on hand to delight both young and old alike. And last but not least for that first taste of summer, visitors can enjoy some wonderful “Fair Food” including kettle corn, hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ Ribs, chicken, Italian Sausage, Gyro’s, Chinese Dishes, Pirogi's, Burritos, Onion rings, fries and so much more.

Toledo Farmer’s Market is located in the heart of Toledo’s historic Warehouse district at the corner of Market & Superior Streets, map and directions are available on their Web site, or follow on Facebook – Toledo Farmers Market.
