Bird?s Eye View Circus Offers Family Circus Class Series

Beginning on October 20th Bird’s Eye View Circus will offer three week mini sessions designed for families! Looking for a way to build confidence, strength, and communication? Over the course of the mini-session adults and kids ages 8 and up get to try silks, lyra, trapeze, partner acrobatics, tightwire, balance and more! A great way to connect with kids in a supportive and safe environment. Join instructor Chloe Whiting-Stevenson for this special opportunity to do circus as a family. No prior experience necessary.

The first session of classes runs on Saturdays (Oct. 20th, 27th, & Nov. 3rd) from 3:45PM-5:00PM. The second session of classes will be held on Dec. 1st, 8th, & 15th. Each session costs $60 for an adult and $45 for a child.

About Chloe Whiting-Stevenson:

Chloe teaches aerial and acrobatics in both the youth and adult program at Birds Eye View Circus and performs in the professional troop. Chloe’ loves all kinds of performance – theatre, dance, and the circus arts. She works as a movement and acting instructor, Butoh dancer, mask maker, performance artist, and yoga instructor in the Midwest. Chloe’ has an MFA in Physical Theatre from the Accademia’ Dell Arte, located in Arezzo Italy in association with MUW, an MA in Theatre from Illinois State University and a BA in Theatre with a focus in acting from Siena Heights University. She is a registered 200 RYT Yoga instructor and a certified Elemental Body Alignment Level I teacher. She has worked and performed across the United States, France, Italy, Germany, the Czech Republic, Wales, and Nicaragua.

Her areas of interest include devised theatre, circus, storytelling, puppeteering, Butoh, and research into theatre history. Chloe’s passion for teaching, human bodies in motion, and communication are what brought her to share the exciting opportunities within physical theatre. Everyone has a voice – it just needs to be unlocked and shared with the world.
