Gathered Glassblowing Studio, downtown Toledo’s premier studio gallery, is proud to showcase Columbus artist, Chaz O’Neil, as the first Featured Artist of 2020 in conjunction with their Spring Open House. Gathered will host an opening and public reception to be held on March 19th, 2020. As part of Gathered’s Featured Artist Series, O’Neil will be exhibiting new works titled The Messenger which explore O’Neil’s interest in the spread of information, the exploration of space, and the aesthetics of maps and topography. O’Neil is the Museum and Gallery Assistant and Instructor at Otterbein University, and was recently awarded the Ohio Arts Council’s Can Serrat Residency in El Bruc, Spain along with the Greater Columbus Arts Council’s residency program in Dresden, Germany.

Gathered will also be featuring a glassblowing demonstration of filigrana techniques by Gathered owner Mike Stevens along with printmaking demonstrations by their second-floor resident letterpress studio, The Black Iron Press.

Gathered Glassblowing Studio will host a Spring Open House on March 19th, 2020, with new works by featured artist Chaz O’Neil from 6-9pm.
