Toledo Zoo has more than enough animal love to share. The Zoo invites visitors to bring their favorite stuffed pal to Teddy Bear Care Fair supported by The University of Toledo College of Nursing and ProMedica on Saturday, March 21 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Zoo volunteers will provide check-ups and cosmetic repairs in the workshop at Nature’s Neighborhood from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. to ensure all stuffed friends are fixed up and fit for another year of fun. This bear-y fun event is included with Zoo admission.
Teddy Bear Care Fair showcases the many ways that people can care for animals, from stuffed buddies and real-life pets to your favorite Zoo residents. This year, our focus is on the health, care and activities of our resident bear species, including polar bears, grizzly bears, Kodiak bear and Andean bear.
In addition to the plush fun, visitors can also pose questions to animal keepers and veterinary staff during scheduled talks, experience the Zoo’s top notch animal care through animal feeds and demonstrations, enjoy puppet shows, interact with divers in the Aquarium, participate in hands-on activities and much more! Get the full schedule of activities at toledozoo.org/teddybear.
Make no mistake, Teddy Bear Care Fair is stuffed with fun!
