Gathered to Host Contemporary Photography Exhibit

Now is Forever features work by seven photographers and curated by James Dickerson

Gathered Glassblowing Studio, downtown Toledo’s premier gallery/studio, is proud to host a new exhibition in their upstairs galleries, Now is Forever: A Photography Exhibition. Curated by James Dickerson/Dirtykics, Now is Forever is a contemplative look at the state of contemporary America through the lens of a camera. Consisting of seven artists, the exhibition deftly examines the tumultuous period of the last several months, with the work grappling with America’s evolving identity through frank depictions of everyday people living through extraordinary times.

Featured photographers include
Rob Lorenzo, Clara Delgado, Elissa Ackerman, Zalas Wulfgang, Malcolm Cunningham, Aaron Paschal, and James Dickerson. Now is Forever will run from October 15th- November 19th, 2020.

A socially distanced free public opening is planned for Friday, October 23
th from 6-9 pm, with limited appointments available throughout the evening. Post-opening, the public is invited to view the exhibitions in-person via appointment while safely maintaining social distancing regulations, mandated by the State of Ohio.
