Tabernacle Church and United Way of Greater Toledo Host Family Movie Night at TMA Glass Pavilion

WHAT:           Tabernacle Church and United Way of Greater Toledo will host a free, family friendly screening of “Black Panther” (2018) for families from the Robinson, Scott and Riverside Toledo Public Schools (TPS) Community Hubs Friday, Oct. 16, 2020 at the Toledo Museum of Art (TMA). The purpose of schools who serve as Community Hubs is to facilitate community engagement, promote academic success and foster the overall wellbeing of students, their families and the surrounding neighborhood.

The film screening will take place outside on the grounds of the Glass Pavilion from 4 to 7 p.m. Families are required to register in advance by calling 211.

Snacks, community resources and an art activity will be available. Families will also receive a free Family membership to the Toledo Museum of Art, courtesy of Huntington Bank.

Capacity is limited to maintain social distancing between persons not from the same household. Face coverings will be required, and disposable face coverings will be provided to visitors who arrive without one. Families are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets to sit on for the film screening.

Free parking for the event will be available in TMA Parking Lot 6, located on Parkwood Ave. In case of inclement weather, the event will be relocated indoors to the GlasSalon.
