ABOUT TARTA FLEX

TARTA Flex will replace TARTA’s current Call-A-Ride services, bringing service to areas previously unserved by TARTA. Passengers will be able to request a ride the previous day by using the TARTA Flex app or by calling 419-382-9901, and may also book a ride 30-to-60 minutes ahead of their trip.

TARTA Flex riders can travel anywhere in their transit zone for $3 one-way. Zones include:

Northwest Zone: All points previously covered by Sylvania Call-A-Ride. Eugene Kranz Toledo Express Airport; Holland; Ottawa Hills; Springfield Township; Sylvania; Sylvania Township.

Southwest Zone: All points previously covered by Maumee Call-A-Ride. Airport; Maumee; Monclova Township; Springfield Township; Waterville, Whitehouse.

Rossford Zone: All points previously covered by Rossford Call-A-Ride.

There will be an additional $3 charge for customers transferring from one microtransit zone to another, but riders using a TARTA Flex vehicle to connect with TARTA’s fixed-route service will not be charged for the transfer.

Flex fares can be paid on board with cash or through the EZFare app.

TARTA Flex will be of particular use to TARPS-eligible customers and those over the age of 65. Microtransit vehicles are fully accessible. TARPS customers and seniors will be able to travel point-to-point through TARTA’s entire coverage area for $3, as long as their origin or destination are located in a TARTA Flex Zone.
