It’s been 26 years since the Perrysburg Farmers Market made its debut, and this season, they’re coming back bigger and better than ever – with a new name and a fresh new attitude!

Enjoy the PERRYSBURG FARMERS MARKET, now known as VISIT PERRYSBURG MARKET DAYS in historic downtown Perrysburg, every Thursday starting May 11th through September 21st, with fresh and local produce, plants, flowers, crafts, art, and of course, plenty of food trucks – all within the Historic District DORA footprint!

VISIT PERRYSBURG MARKET DAYS run from 4pm-8pm and is rain-or-shine, although the 50+ MERCHANTS have final say in whether they brave the weather or not. The Visit Perrysburg social media pages will share changes in the participating merchant list when available.  Additionally, local FOOD TRUCK favorites will reprise their locale from last year on West Third Street (in what’s famously becoming known as Food Truck Row) in historic downtown Perrysburg from 4pm-8pm every Thursday of the MARKET from May 11th through September 21st.  And new this season, there’s a FOOD TRUCK ALCOVE where sweets and drinks will be featured, all within eyesight of Food Truck Row. All in all, there’s 19 food-related vendors in this pedestrian-friendly venue within the Market. The FOOD TRUCK line-up will be posted each week on the Visit Perrysburg social media pages where guests can peruse menu options & create a dinner plan before they arrive.

And returning for another season of free, live music is MUSIC AT THE MARKET which also got a name refresh this season – LETTUCE TURNIP THE BEET which is held on the Commodore Lawn every Thursday night from June 1st through August 31st. Concert-goers are encouraged to BYOB – Bring Your Own Blanket – or a lawn chair, and enjoy the free music from 7pm-8:30pm. Concerts are weather-dependent, and cancellations will be posted by 5pm of concert days on social media pages. LETTUCE TURNIP THE BEET is presented by Yark Chevy with additional support by School of Rock-Perrysburg and Visit Perrysburg.

Site maps and performance line-ups are available on visitperrysburg.com and will also be distributed at Way Public Library, several Historic District merchants at their point-of-sale, and throughout the Market itself by way of the Information Booth and participating Merchant booths, making it easy to find your favorites or explore new ones!

“Taking a cue from our merchants to provide fresh, new products each year is the proponent behind rebranding the Market and concert series this year”, said Executive Director Christine Best. “We encourage people to VISIT PERRYSBURG MARKET DAYS to take home some beautiful, seasonal flowers or grab dinner for the family. Explore the 60+ merchant booths for gardening tips, organic produce, bottled seasonings for every heat level, delicious and locally-made baked goods, or check out the artwork and crafts handmade by area small businesses. It’s a festival-like atmosphere every single Thursday in Perrysburg, and we’re proud to be spearheading the action!”
