AUGUST
The 150th annual Wood County Fair–and the sounds of its infamous tractor pull!--continue through the first week of August. Then, new this year, a Plein Air Art Festival kicks off in Sylvania. The ever-popular Jeep Fest happens downtown in August, while over in Maumee the annual Summer Fair has been going 40+ years strong. Mid-month enjoy great music while raising funds for charity at Oliver Hazard Day, and support our LGBTQ+ community at Toledo Pride through a parade, the festival, and even a drag brunch crawl!
The end of August sees returning favorites in the 19th annual Levis Commons Art Fair, the 9th CommUNITY Film Fest, and the 57th German American Festival.

OCTOBER
October’s fair & festival schedule may be lighter than those peak summer months, but it’s quality over quantity as fall rolls on. Enjoy the 2nd annual Ciderfest 419 presented by Toledo Night Market on October 6th, then cap off the weekend on Put-in-Bay with brats and beers at Oktoberfest.
Mid-October brings along two opportunities to enjoy the apple harvest bounty–the Oak Harbor Apple Festival and, running continuously since 1977, the Grand Rapids’ Applebutter Fest.
