18th Annual Shamrockin’ the Blarney St. Patrick’s Day Weekend Celebration

Shamrockin’ The Blarney St. Patrick’s Day 2024 will be a full weekend long celebration on Huron St. under the heated tent and inside the Blarney. Festivities for the weekend will begin Friday, March 15th, with the Shamrockin’ Shuffle glow run at 8pm. Visit www.runtoledo.com to register.

The festivities continue Saturday March 16th, when the Blarney opens at 11:30a. The heated tent will be open at 5pm with Book that DJ (www.bookthatdj.com) warming the crowd up for Zack Attack (www.zackattack.com) who will take the stage at 8pm. Adult beverages will be served in the heated tent until 12a Saturday night.

The Blarney will open bright and early on St. Patrick’s Day Sunday March 17th, 6am, with a $5 cover with Irish breakfast served (breakfast wraps with eggs, corned beef, swiss, 1000 island, and potato) until 12p. Toraigh an Sonas, traditional Irish musicians, will be live on The Blarney stage from 8a-10a. ( https://www.facebook.com/ToraighAnSonas/ ) Toledo Firefighters pipes and drums will make an appearance. Eight different area acoustic musicians will be live on The Blarney Stage from 10a to 9:30p. The heated tent will open at 12p, with live music from Skittle Bots 12p – 230p ( www.skittlebots.com ) , followed by Katie’s Randy Cat 3p – 6p (www.facebook.com/KatiesRandyCat) and wrapping up the evening will be Pop’s Garage 7p – 930p (www.popsgarage419.com). Once again, we honor our local heroes by donating a portion of the weekend’s proceeds to the Toledo Firefighters Local 92 Charities as well as other worthy charities.

“With St. Patrick’s Day being on a Sunday this year, we anticipate a lot of people waiting on us to open the doors at 6am on Sunday. We’ll be ready!” said Ed Beczynski, owner, The Blarney Irish Pub.

The Hilton brands are the official hotel partner of The Blarney St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Special rates for stays on 3/17 and 3/18 can be booked through the Hilton website or by calling and mentioning the Blarney while booking to receive the discount.
