Sunshine Communities Launches Gifts that Give Back Boxes

Georgette's Grounds & Gifts and Sunshine Studios, both owned and operated by Sunshine Communities, announce the launch of mission-driven gift boxes for the holiday season and beyond.

The locally curated, customizable gift boxes provide meaningful employment for individuals with developmental disabilities through Georgette’s Café and Sunshine Studios, both located in Uptown Maumee. These gift options are perfect for anyone—clients, friends, family, or neighbors—whether they’re coffee enthusiasts, art lovers, or a bit of both. Individuals with developmental disabilities are involved in every step of the process, from hand-folding the boxes and signing each one to measuring coffee beans and creating the artwork.

New Holiday Gift Box Options Include:

  • Georgette’s Favorites – Named after Sunshine Communities' founder, featuring Georgette’s cafe signature flavors.
  • Christmas Morning – Kick start your holiday morning with a festive treat. Everything you need in one box.
  • Art Studio Box – Order online or visit the Art Studios to fill your box with your favorite pieces such an ornament or bird bath.
