2025 Sylvania Memorial Day Parade & Ceremonies

Sylvania’s Memorial Day Celebration continues to be one of the most meaningful and well- attended commemorations in Northwest Ohio. The Sylvania Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with local veterans groups and the City of Sylvania, invites the community to honor the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

The Memorial Day Parade and Ceremonies will be held on Monday, May 26, 2025.

The day will begin with a solemn service at 9:00 AM at Toledo Memorial Park, located at 6382 Monroe Street. With more than 14,000 local veterans laid to rest, the “Sea of Flags” placed at each grave creates a breathtaking tribute to our fallen heroes.

The Memorial Day Parade will step off at 10:00 AM from Saint Joseph Parish, 5373 Main Street. The parade route is as follows:

St. Joe’s East – Launch
North on Main Street (North) Left on Monroe Street (West) Right on Judi Young (North) Left on Maplewood (West) Right on Phillips (North)
Left on Erie (West)
Right on Garden Park (North) Veterans Memorial Park - End

A Memorial Day Service will take place immediately following the parade at Veterans Memorial Park. The service will be led by City of Sylvania Mayor Mark Frye, who will serve as Master of Ceremonies.
