Franklin Park Mall Hosts “Trick-or-Treat for Tots” on October 24 A Spook-tacular Morning of Family Fun for Little Ones

Franklin Park Mall invites families to join in the Halloween fun at its annual Trick-or-Treat for Tots event on Friday, October 24, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. During this fun event, the mall will transform into a Halloween wonderland filled with costumes, candy, and creative activities designed especially for children ages six and under.

This not-so-spooky celebration features a trick-or-treating parade to participating stores, hands-on crafts, play-along-the-way games, and a keepsake photo booth experience — all indoors, rain or shine.

Event Schedule at a Glance:

11:00 AM – 12:30 PM: Trick-or-Treating parade to participating stores
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Crafts, games & photo booth fun

Event Highlights:

Show Off Your Costume: Little ghosts, super heroes and princesses can parade through the mall in their Halloween best while collecting treats from store to store.
Photo Booth Fun: Capture the memory in the H&M Wing next to Versona, where families can take home a festive keepsake photo.
Craft Your Own Monster Haircut: Hosted by Educare Academy, this creative activity aligns with Ohio’s Early Learning & Development Standard Physical Wellness 1B. After trick-or-treating, families are encouraged to enjoy lunch in the Food Court and get crafty with this fun, monster-themed project.
Play-Along-the-Way: Kids can take their turn at Pin a Face on the Pumpkin and Ghost Ring Toss.
Meet Our Community Partners: The Toledo Police Department’s Community Policing Division will also be on site with treats for kids, joining in the fun as the event’s signature community partner and reinforcing Franklin Park Mall’s commitment to positive community engagement.

A special thank-you goes to Sweet Treats Candy Company, Franklin Park Mall’s vintage candy shop located in the Dillard’s Wing, for serving as the official Candy Sponsor and keeping little pumpkins smiling all morning long.

Trick-or-Treat for Tots is part of Franklin Park Mall’s Toledo Parent Kids Club series. Kids Club events take place monthly and always feature activities curated by Educare Academy that align with Ohio’s Early Learning & Development Standards, offering families engaging, educational fun throughout the year.

Trick-or-Treat for Tots is free to attend, but registration is appreciated to help ensure a great experience for all participants.
