Sylvania, Ohio — The Ability Center, The Area Office on Aging, and Principle Business Enterprises, Inc. (PBE) are proud to announce the kickoff of its Northwest Ohio Medical Supply Closet on November 5, 2025. This new community service is designed to support area residents and caregivers by providing needed incontinence supplies at no cost.
Incontinence is a common health challenge affecting over 46 million Americans of all ages – seniors, people with disabilities, and caregivers alike. Yet access to quality incontinence supplies is not a given for many in our community. Through the Northwest Ohio Medical Supply Closet, area residents and caregivers can rely on Tranquility® Incontinence Products – trusted solutions offered by PBE – to meet daily incontinence management needs. By providing a supply of these essentials at no cost, the program aims to lighten the logistical and emotional load for caregivers, while supporting the health and independence of the individuals served.
“Everyone deserves access to quality care and premium products that protect their dignity and support well-being,” said Andy Stocking, CEO and President of PBE. “Through our Tranquility brand, and in partnership with organizations who share our values, we’re proud to invest in our community by offering products to help caregivers and individuals manage incontinence with confidence.”
This will be the first of a monthly distribution point aiming to improve health outcomes, dignity, and independence for community members. Monthly Distribution of supplies will be available for pick-up every first Wednesday of each month at The Ability Center, located at 5605 Monroe St., Sylvania, Ohio 43560.
Community members are invited to help stock the supply closet via The Ability Center and the Area Office on Aging Foundation through monetary donations online.
