EatWell Cafe Announces Grand Opening in Downtown Toledo

EatWell Cafe, a community-centered cafe operating on a participation-based model, is proud to announce its Grand Opening on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 325 N. Michigan St., Toledo, Ohio, inside the downtown Toledo Lucas County Public Library.

The Grand Opening invites community members, partners, and supporters to experience EatWell Cafe’s welcoming space, learn about its mission, and enjoy nutritious, thoughtfully prepared bowls in an inclusive environment where everyone has a place at the table.

Creative Ways to Participate & Suggested Donation

EatWell Cafe has no single donation—only shared responsibility and community care. Guests may choose one or more of the following options:

• Suggested Minimum Donation: $3 per serving
• Pay It Forward: Donate extra to help provide a future meal
• Membership: Different options available at www.eatwellcafe.org/#how-it-works
• Help-Out: Assist with light tasks such as wiping tables or sweeping for 30 minutes

Regular Cafe Hours

Following the Grand Opening, EatWell Cafe will be open weekly:

• Thursdays: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
• Fridays: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
