Destination Toledo invites you to embark on a new adventure of Northwest Ohio’s craft brewery scene. The 419 Ale Trail is returning to classic routes of exploration with a new paper map and checklist for beer lovers to make their way to the best breweries throughout the region. The new annual 419 Ale Trail map and sticker are available starting Thursday, January 22, 2026, at partner brewery locations and digitally at VisitToledo.org/419AleTrail.
This refreshed version of the beloved trail retires the gamified elements, such as the digital passport and multiple prize incentives, and instead focuses on celebrating the region’s breweries through an easy-to-use printed and digital map, allowing craft beer fans to explore at their own pace at any time.
“We’re excited to have the 419 Ale Trail evolve and continue in this new way,” says Cathy Miller, Partnership Development Manager at Destination Toledo and longtime 419 Ale Trail administrator. “Craft beer lovers will still be able to taste all the incredible brews that Northwest Ohio has to offer, collect a new sticker each year, and most importantly support local businesses along the way.”
What to Expect in the New 419 Ale Trail Format:
-
A redesigned printed and digital 419 Ale Trail map
-
Expanded list of breweries to explore
-
A check-off-style printed guide for visitors to track their stops
-
Free annual promotional sticker to collect
