Daily Dose | 02/23/2026 10:00 am
The Toledo Lucas County Public Library continues its 2026 Authors! series with the addition of several events this spring and summer. Newly announced authors include Nick Petrie, Lindy Ryan, Daniel Kraus and Kelly Rimmer. They join Deborah Goodrich Royce, Olesya Salnikova Gilmore and Jennie Garth, who were announced earlier this year.
“With Authors!, we’re connecting readers to authors they may already love while introducing them to new voices and genres they might not otherwise encounter,” said Kathy Selking, director of development, affinity groups and events. “That sense of discovery is central to the Toledo Library’s role as a community connector.”
Highlighting genres including suspense and thriller fiction, horror, memoir, historical fiction, paranormal mystery and contemporary literary suspense, these acclaimed authors will take the stage at Main Library and at locations throughout the community. Each event features a moderated discussion exploring the author’s creative process and inspiration, followed by a brief audience Q&A.
Tickets for Authors! events are on sale now and available exclusively at Eventbrite. For assistance, please call 419-259-5200. Each ticket includes a signed copy of the author’s featured book, while supplies last.
Authors! is presented by the Library Legacy Foundation, with additional support from supporting sponsors Huntington Bank and UToledo Health and community sponsor Friends of the Library.
