Toledo Library and Toledo Spirits Co. Collaborate on Spring Cocktail Menu

This spring, Bellwether at Toledo Spirits is inviting book lovers and cocktail connoisseurs alike to enjoy a variety of literary-inspired beverages. Developed in partnership between the Toledo Lucas County Public Library and Toledo Spirits Co., NOVEL is a limited-time menu celebrating some of the literary world’s most beloved texts, from gothic and science fiction to romantasy and magical realism.

“NOVEL is a creative way to bring literature beyond the pages of a book and into the community,” said Allison Fiscus, Adult Services Coordinator at the Toledo Library. “This collaboration with Toledo Spirits Co. highlights how stories can inspire connection, creativity and new experiences while introducing people to books they may not have discovered before.”

Each of the 14 drink options on the NOVEL menu is inspired by a book and features unique ingredients inspired by the work, including Toledo Spirits’s vast array of premium spirits that celebrate craft distilling. Non-alcoholic options are also available.

“We loved the idea of creating a menu that celebrates literature while showcasing our craft spirits,” said Andrew Newby, CEO at Toledo Spirits Co. “Working with the Toledo Library allowed us to combine storytelling and mixology in a way that feels creative, approachable and distinctly Toledo.”

Customers can order from the NOVEL menu through mid-June. Bellwether at Toledo Spirits is located at 1301 N. Summit St., Toledo.
