The Arts Commission Announces The Mix 2026 in New Home on Adams Street: An Evening of Art, Music, People, and Possibility

The Arts Commission is pleased to announce that The Mix 2026 will be held in their new home at 1000 Adams Street on Friday, May 1st!
Join The Arts Commission for an evening of art, music, people, and possibility. The critical fundraising event for The Arts Commission will run from 7:30 – 11:30PM, and bring together artists, performers, and the culturally inclined from around Toledo to create, enjoy delicious food, and move to live music.
Event Details
When: Friday, May 1 | 7:30 – 11:30pm (MIX+ early entry starts at 6:45pm)
Where: The Arts Commission, 1000 Adams St, Toledo, Ohio 43604
Tickets: $90 General Admission | $195 MIX+
All ticket prices include admission to the event and food. MIX+ tickets include two drink tickets, early entry to the event, expedited check-in all evening, and an exclusive live watercolor portrait by local artist Haily Jane.
“The Mix is the largest fundraising event for The Arts Commission each year, and it’s always a super fun party full of hands-on artist experiences, live music, delicious food and cocktails, and good vibes,” says Molly Luetke, Mix Co-Chair, “This year it’s extra special because it’s being hosted at The Arts Commission’s new home, and we’re excited to bring the indoor and outdoor spaces to life in unexpected ways.”
Entertainment for the evening includes:
- Musical performances by Distant Cousinz, Jon Zenz, DJ 419, and Sankofa Sounds.
- Bird’s Eye View Circus, caricatures by Isaac Klunk, watercolor portraits by Painted by Haily Jane (MIX+ exclusive) and visual and interactive art by Mercé Culp, Tony McCarty/Filter Studios, Maura Amato, Toledo School for the Arts, and Stu’s House.
Food and refreshments for the evening include:
- Swanky Scoops, Casero Kitchen Food Truck, JoJo’s Famous Chili Dogs, and Baba’s Eats. Two (2) bars will be available at the venue.
A silent auction will be held to support fundraising efforts. Auction items include original artwork from various local artists and unique local experiences.

Proceeds from The Mix will benefit the programs and activities of The Arts Commission, including Artist Services, Young Artists at Work, Art Loop, and Artomatic 419.
