Major Upgrade Coming to The Stranahan

Joseph Santiago, general manager, is please to announce that The Stranahan will be replacing all 2,400+ theater seats with new seating in July during this one-time shutdown. The original seating has been in place for 50+ years and for most theater and concert fans, brings back dozens of great memories of outstanding performances.

"There is so much history inside The Stranahan dating back to 1969 when it first opened as the Masonic Temple” said Mr. Santiago. “Countless stars have graced its stage and millions of people have sat in its seats. Due to audience interest, we’re offering a limited number of the existing seats for sale. This "Take Your Seat" program is a great way for the area community to own a piece of history as we remove the old seats and install a new look and feel for The Stranahan”.

Bottomline: You can own a piece of Stranahan Theater history and install these in your media room or wherever you choose. The Stranahan is offering a "package" of four seats for $200 while supplies last. If interested, contact the Stranahan ticket office at 419-381-8851 by no later than Wednesday June 10th. These 4-seat packages will be available for pickup on a designated Saturday in July.

As part of this exciting renovation, the seat numbering system will also be revised for greater clarity and, in addition to being more comfortable, the new seats will also include beverage cupholders. Check out current performances and future show schedule at TheStranahan.com.
