The Toledo Lucas County Public Library will welcome award-winning and bestselling romance authors Elizabeth Stephens and Julian Winters as featured guests for Romance-Con, the Library’s annual romance novel convention. They join headlining authors Adriana Herrera and Ali Hazelwood in this year’s lineup. The daylong event returns to Main Library on Saturday, Nov. 7.

Elizabeth Stephens is a top 10 USA Today bestselling author of All Superheroes Need PR, part of the Supers in the City series. Her work features diverse casts, expansive world-building and villains—or beasts—who earn their happily-ever-afters. She lives in the Pacific Northwest, where she enjoys the outdoors and traveling with her husband, children and dog, King Louis.

Julian Winters is an award-winning author whose novels include Running With Lions, an IBPA Benjamin Franklin Gold Award winner, and Right Where I Left You, a Georgia Peach Award nominee. He also writes adult romance, including I Think They Love You and Last First Kiss, a USA Today bestseller. Winters lives outside Atlanta and enjoys rom-coms, volleyball and soccer.

Romance-Con is a literary celebration where romance readers connect with fellow fans and authors through talks, workshops, panel discussions and an author fair featuring dozens of independently published romance writers from across the country. The event also includes conversations with nationally renowned, bestselling romance authors.

Since its debut in 2024, Romance-Con has hosted nearly 100 romance writers, ranging from local creators to nationally bestselling authors. Previous headlining and featured guests include Abby Jimenez, Christina Lauren, Susan Lee, Kimberly Lemming, Kathryn Moon, C.M. Nascosta, Nikki Payne, Chip Pons, Jo Segura and Julie Soto.
