ProMedica Community Events in July

ProMedica will offer the following community events in July:

July 6, 2026 – ProMedica Weight Loss Surgery Support Group – The ProMedica Weight Loss Surgery Support Group is designed for patients who have undergone weight loss surgery or for community members seeking more information about this procedure. The group meets on the first Monday of every month at the ProMedica Health & Wellness Center, Education Conference Rooms 1 & 2 (5700 Monroe Street, Sylvania, OH 43560), beginning at 6 p.m. No registration is required.

July 16, 2026 – Northeast Ohio Amputee Support Group – The Northeast Ohio Amputee Support Group is a peer-led group focused on connection, shared experience and real-world guidance. New amputees, long-term amputees, caregivers, supporters and anyone impacted by limb loss are encouraged to attend. The group meets on the third Thursday of every month at the ProMedica Health & Wellness Center, Community Room 1 (5700 Monroe Street, Sylvania, OH 43560), beginning at 4 p.m. No registration is required. July 23, 2026 – ProMedica Stroke Support Group – The ProMedica Stroke Support Group provides education and support for stroke survivors and their caregivers. This month’s topic, “Caring for the Caregiver and Supporting the Stroke Survivor,” will include breakout sessions focused on caregiver support and stroke recovery. The group will meet from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the second-floor Education Room inside the ProMedica Neurosciences Center.

July 2026 – ProMedica Ronald McDonald Care Mobile – The ProMedica Ronald McDonald Care Mobile is a child-focused mobile clinic offering sick visits, physicals, immunizations and more. The clinic is open Monday–Thursday every week. For questions or to schedule an appointment, please call or text 567-389-2841. Walk-ins are welcome.
