The Libbey House is pleased to announce that the historic home will be celebrating the late Edward Drummond and Florence Scott Libbey and their contribution to the American experience as part of America250 and Ohio’s Homecoming & Picnic.   Throughout the month of July, communities across Ohio will gather for food, fun and friendship to celebrate our nation’s freedom, honor our nation’s history and Ohio’s notable contributions to U.S. history!

On Saturday, July 11th, the beautiful grounds of the Toledo Museum of Art will be the setting for Ohio’s Homecoming & Picnic event. As part of this event, the Libbey House will be hosting a free open house tour of the historic Old West End mansion. The house will be open to the public from 11:00 am -3:00 pm.

As part of the free tours, Time Travelers Passport will also be held on July 11 and 12 at the historic Libbey House from 11am-3pm.

Donations are greatly appreciated and all proceeds will go to the ongoing renovation of Mr. Libbey’s historic home. Everyone is welcome.

The Libbey House is located at 2008 Scottwood Avenue. www.Libbeyhouse.org.

The Libbey House Foundation is supported in part by American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds allocated by the City of Toledo and the Lucas County Commissioners and administered by The Arts Commission.
