EatWell Cafe Awarded $15,000 Grant from the John Henry Eldred Jr. Foundation

EatWell Cafe has been awarded a $15,000 Growth & Resilience Grant from the John Henry Eldred Jr. Foundation to support its project, "Expanding Local Produce and Community Meal Access at EatWell Cafe."

The funding will help the cafe increase access to healthy, locally sourced meals while strengthening partnerships with local farmers and food producers throughout the Toledo area.

"We are incredibly grateful to the John Henry Eldred Jr. Foundation for believing in our mission," said Mitchell Magdich of EatWell Cafe. "This investment allows us to serve more fresh, nutritious meals while continuing to build a stronger, healthier community."

EatWell Cafe operates on a participation-based model, providing nutritious meals in a welcoming environment where everyone is treated with dignity, regardless of their ability to pay.
