Sylvania Community Orchestra Concert Scheduled for 8/26 at Olander Park

On Wednesday, August 26, 2026, the Sylvania Community Orchestra will present their “Summer Pops” concert at Outdoor Sylvania Community Parks’ Olander Park as part of the Sunset Serenades program. Join your community orchestra for a fast-paced program of toe-tapping favorites, popular pieces, and music specifically for the young and young-at-heart. Pack a lawn chair, blanket, and your picnic basket for an evening of free entertainment in the beauty of Olander Park. This is a free concert; no tickets are required to attend. Your friends and neighbors of the Sylvania Community Orchestra look forward to seeing you there.

The Sylvania Community Orchestra (SCO) is one of many successful programs of Sylvania Arts. The SCO is a nonprofit, volunteer-based organization dedicated to creating accessible musical experiences in the greater-Toledo area. Sylvania Arts is a non-profit organization directed by a volunteer Board of Trustees and an executive director. Our programs are funded in part by the City of Sylvania, Sylvania Township, the Ohio Arts Council, and private donations.
