New Mental Health Center Opens in Maumee

Theralogica Wellness Center, a supportive mental health counseling environment, is pleased to announce its Grand Opening and ribbon cutting celebration. The event will take place at 4pm on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 2221 River Road in Maumee.
Theralogica offers a wide variety of behavioral health therapy options through a curated group of Doctoral-level, AASECT-affiliated providers. The practice offers both in-office visits and tele-health therapy sessions. With either option, the group of trusted professionals strive to offer a safe, supportive and welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their mental health needs.
ASSECT Certified founder, Dr. Andrea House specializes in sex therapy (one of few in greater Toledo), life transitions (menopause and postpartum), agism, men’s issues, trauma and PTSD. As a sex-positive therapist, Dr. House strives to understand each client’s unique concerns while fostering growth and healing. “Even in today’s world, addressing the impact of menopause and postpartum symptoms on sexual intimacy largely remain unaddressed”, says Dr. House. “This needs to change.”
Theralogica is located in a completely renovated wellness center on River Road that was previously a wide-open, rigid and cold personal training studio. Working closely with architects, carpenters, and interior designers, the building was reconfigured into a "Zen-like" collection of private offices that are fresh, bright, warm, and welcoming.
“It was incredibly important to me that our building be carefully and thoughtfully transformed (from its previous state) into a mental health wellness center that feels peaceful, and genuinely welcoming for our patients”, said Founder Dr. Andrea House, PhD, LPCC.
The celebration will begin at 4pm with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by the Maumee Chamber. Following the ceremony and a brief agenda of remarks, attendees are invited to enjoy light refreshments, meet the clinicians, and explore the newly renovated space.
