The Arts Commission of Greater Toledo’s Art in Public Places Program is pleased to announce the impending return of the sculpture You Are Beautiful / You Are Doing Great by Matthew Hoffman.

The sculpture was originally commissioned as a temporary public art installation for The Arts Commission’s Momentum Festival in 2019. It was removed to accommodate the creation of Metroparks Toledo’s Glass City Riverwalk, at which time the original sculpture was deaccessioned and planning began to recreate a permanent version of this beloved artwork.

Art in Public Places worked with artist Matthew Hoffman to design and fabricate a new version of the sculpture from more durable materials, which will be installed at its prior location on Friday, July 17th. Located at the Glass City Metropark – International Cove Area, You Are Beautiful / You Are Doing Great joins Starburst by Blessing Hancock as recent additions of public art along the Glass City Riverwalk.
