The Toledo Lucas County Public Library is introducing the inaugural Romance-Con Ambassador program, a new initiative designed to expand author engagement and enhance programming throughout the convention.

The ambassadors will help guide conversations, moderate panel discussions and lead author sessions throughout the day, creating additional opportunities for readers to connect with romance authors in a more interactive setting.

The 2026 Romance-Con Ambassadors are Jason Clarke, Terreece M. Clarke, Susan Lee, Kathryn Moon, Kate Robb, Jo Segura and Cara Tanamachi. Several ambassadors previously appeared at Romance-Con and return this year in expanded roles. They join headlining authors Adriana Herrera and Ali Hazelwood and featured authors Elizabeth Stephens and Julian Winters as part of this year’s celebration.

Romance-Con brings readers together with bestselling and emerging romance authors through featured presentations, workshops, panel discussions, an author fair featuring 60 independently and traditionally published romance writers and opportunities to connect with fellow romance fans.

Since launching in 2024, Romance-Con has welcomed nearly 100 romance authors, from local writers to nationally bestselling names. Previous headlining and featured authors include Abby Jimenez, Christina Lauren, Kimberly Lemming, C.M. Nascosta, Nikki Payne, Chip Pons and Julie Soto, as well as Lee, Moon and Segura.

The 2026 Romance-Con will take place Saturday, Nov. 7 at Main Library in downtown Toledo.
