Sink Your Teeth into Shark Week

They say to live every week like it’s Shark Week. Now you can. Join Imagination Station from July 25 through July 31 for a week that will dive deep into the science behind the most magnificent and dangerous predators of the sea.

What: Shark Week at Imagination Station

When: Saturday, July 25 - Friday, July 31

If you’ve got the chops for it, start Shark Week off by reliving the 1975 classic, Jaws, on the big screen. Then, throughout the week, take a trip to the Think Tank for the Shark Dissection Workshop and to the 3D film, Great White Shark, and learn the terrifying truth about sharks—that they’re not as harmful as you might believe.

While Toledo is well over 500 miles away from the nearest ocean, Shark Week gives kids and families a unique opportunity to understand one of the most misunderstood, highly evolved creatures in our ecosystem. In fact, sharks are a major player in science and in the health of oceans. Despite an outwardly frightening appearance, sharks help maintain the delicate balance that marine environments need.

Go all in, fin first, to a week of jaw-dropping fun during Shark Week. The shark pass is $20 for members and $22 plus admission for non-members. For more information about Shark Week, head to imaginationstationtoledo.org.
