Hold your horses for Science After Dark: Hoedown Showdown

So dust off your boots, saddle up and ride on over to Science After Dark: Hoedown Showdown on Saturday, August 29 from 7-10pm. It’s going to be a rootin’, tootin’, good time full of spurs, spirits and science.

Tickets: $20

Be prepared because it’s going to be the wild, wild west when you arrive. Try out your best boot scootin’ boogie during line dancing lessons, take a ride on the mechanical bull and see if you can swing it and master lasso roping.

Don’t horse around, though, because you’ll want to try out our two brand new workshops. First, drop into the Metal Casting class and use liquid metal to create your own keychain that looks like boots or a rattlesnake. Then, hit the science center’s saloon for a Whiskey Tasting class hosted by Toledo Spirits.
