Tony Packo’s Opens New Front St. Museum Celebrating Nearly a Century of Toledo History

Tony Packo’s is proud to announce the official opening of the Tony Packo’s History Museum, a new permanent attraction dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history, traditions, and cultural impact of one of Toledo’s most iconic institutions.
Located at the Original Tony Packo’s on Front Street, the museum offers guests an immersive journey through the company’s nearly 100-year history. Visitors will discover a remarkable collection of memorabilia, historic artifacts, photographs, and exhibits that showcase the people, stories, and moments that helped make Tony Packo’s a beloved destination for generations of guests.
The museum also highlights Tony Packo’s unique place in popular culture, including its connection to the legendary television series MASH* and the countless visitors, celebrities, and community members who have contributed to the restaurant’s enduring legacy. 1
“Tony Packo’s has always been about more than great food,” said Lindsey Bond, Executive Director of Tony Packo’s. “It’s about family, community, tradition, and the stories that have connected people to Front Street for generations. The Front St. Museum allows us to preserve those stories and share them with longtime fans and first-time visitors alike.”
Guided tours will be led by Tony Packo’s historian Jim Beard, who will bring the exhibits to life through firsthand accounts, historical insights, and memorable stories from the restaurant’s past. Tours are approximately 60 to 75 minutes in length and provide guests with a deeper appreciation for the history that continues to shape the Tony Packo’s experience today.
